Hello from Sunny Florida,

What a trip! After 30 hrs door to door travelling to finally enjoy the start of our summer vacation. Lucky enough, we were able to travel in Business Class this time and so managed to catch some zzzs on the flight. After a couple of days, finally we have gotten over our jetlag, no longer walking around like the walking dead or zombies in the middle of the night.

So, I usually love to listen to music whilst writing my posts and this time, I was in an R&B mood and chanced upon an artist - Jeff Bernat. Enjoying his album "The Gentleman Approach" in particular the song " Call You Mine". Korean pop star Crush did a cover version of this song as well and it's such a feel good song.

Found this lovely Eliza J dress here in Florida and fell in love immediately with its geometric fabric pattern but more so the high collar which called out "Chinoiserie" to me. Oriental in design yet western in style. Unfortunately as I was prepared for a dress down casual holiday so did not have many heel choices in my luggage to work with to style this outfit. Therefore went with sandals for a change.

Accessories can often make such a difference to an outfit. Love the match of the gold sandals and straw clutch to keep the look smart casual and to round off the whole resort feel, the straw hat in solid navy all help to tone down the busy print of the dress.

Hope you like this summer look and stay tune for more holiday shots coming your way again soon.

    1. Hi Nora. It's such a comfy dress style to trend don't you think. Does not hug us at all the wrong places and allows room for movement. Thanks for visiting and hope to have you visit again soon.
